Do other national Censuses take place every 10 Years ?

Most countries who have a census aim to conduct them every 10 years (a decennial census). However some countries conduct an additional, smaller census, in between. It is normal to conduct the census at the start of the decade (efforts to harmonise data collection in the EU included the directive to conduct the census on the first year of a new decade)
