What about the population in Communal Establishments?

The Census distinguishes between people living in households and those in communal establishments such as old peoples homes. For communal establishments, managers were asked to complete a special form for all resident persons, and distribute (and where appropriate help complete) individual forms to all residents. Where this was more than 100 people, the establishment formed a Special Enumeration District.
